My Guide to the BEST Eye Palettes for Autumn. | Blogtober

Autumn time is my favourite time of the year, the colours, the smells, spooky season, the fashion but most of all the makeup; the burnt oranges, smokey eyes and the deep purples/ berry tones. Even when I’m latching onto my nude lipsticks and glosses, I can still create the ultimate autumnal look with eye shadow, more specifically eye palettes, so I thought I would share some of the best eye palettes for Autumn, out of the ones I currently have in my collection.

Morphe Armed and Gorgeous – £16:

I have wanted the Morphe Armed and Gorgeous palette for over a year now, which was around the time I picked up my other Morphe palette. It has the perfect autumn colour story, really high quality eye shadows with great colour pay off and I’m excited to create more autumnal looks with it.

Morphe Ring the Alarm – £16:

Another one of the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Palettes that I love using at this time of the year is the Ring the Alarm palette; it has a gorgeous colour story which is perfect for the transition period between autumn and winter and the lead up to Christmas. It has some particularly stunning colours and they’re really smooth and blendable; they also have amazing colour pay off.

Charlotte Tilbury Easy Eye Palette – £45:

Next up is the Easy Eye Palette from Charlotte Tilbury which is the perfect day to night palette with the most stunning copper and rose gold tones. It has a mix of 3 mattes and 3 shimmers to create an effortless, yet stunning, eye look; which fits its name so well because it makes it easy, whether you’re in a rush or you haven’t got any inspiration. It also makes for a great beginners product. The pint-sized packaging makes it perfect for fitting in your handbag or to travel with.

W7 Romanced – £6.95:

Moving on to the first of the two W7 palettes I have picked out. W7 is the ultimate dupes brand that creates spitting image products of the most iconic, hyped brands and products on the market. The Romanced palette is a dupe of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam. I couldn’t bring myself to spend almost £50 on a palette, no matter how good it is. It has a mix of mattes and shimmers and makes the perfect smokey eye palette. The shadows are smooth, velvety and blend seemlessly; the only thing I would say is that the shimmers don’t seem to have the same colour pay off as the ABH one but if you work with them a bit, you can build them up.

W7 Delicious – £6.95:

Next up we have another ABH dupe from W7 which it’s a supe of the iconic Modern Renaissance palette. I reviewed this palette in my first few months of Blogging (over 3 years ago!!!) and it’s still a fave to this day. This palette gives off the ultimate autumnal vibes with a gorgeous burnt orange, a few berry tones, warm browns and pale browns and a mix of mattes and shimmers too! It’s definitely another day to night palette with the versatility to create a number of different looks; both neutral and ultimate glam.
Both of the W7 Palettes have a great sized mirror, but the packaging isn’t bulky. Having a mirror always a levels up a palette for me as it’s great for on the go.

Revolution Pro x Nath Eye Palette – £10:

My last palette I want to recommend for Autumn is the Revolution pro x Nath collab; I’ve tried so many Revolution palettes and their collabs and they just never fail to blow me away. As always, the shadows are such good quality, really pigmented, blendable and the shimmers are foiled which makes them a whole lot more blinding. Just look at those swatches😍. The packaging opens just like a box of chocolates, but it is a bit of a mare as it doesn’t stay open and taking the photos of it was a task and a half. Another downfall, but not too much of a negative, is that it doesn’t have a mirror. I do think the quality of the shadows and the beautiful range of colours in the palette does out way the negatives though!
