Hey there and welcome back to a new post on my blog, I hope you’re all well. Ooh it’s that time again where I can share with you some of the bits that I have been LOVVVING throughout this month … and surprisingly there is only one makeup product this month, which isn’t like me at all, but let’s hear all about August’s top picks.
After receiving Charlotte Crosby’s new book, Brand New Me, for my birthday at the end of July I just couldn’t put this it down, which meant I finished it in just over a week! It’s really interesting to hear all that happened to Charlotte in her own words and all that she went through. I wont spoil it if you haven’t already read it, but I do recommend this!
I’m not usually much of a fake tanner but I’ve started using this St Moritz Medium Tanning Lotion and I’m loving the results. I always thought that fake tan would be messy and get everywhere but to be honest after it’s developed and you wash it offer I haven’t noticed my sheets turning orange or it getting on my clothes. Also it’s not orange and just gives you a natural sun kissed glow!
I’ve had this moisturiser for a while now, but I just never got round to using it. This month I’ve been trying to use up any older products or products I just don’t like too much and so I reached for this one. The scent of this is White Lily and Damask Rose and it’s just so refreshing and stays on the skin through the day and night, so in between showers you’ll smell amazing. I shower in the mornings so I just apply this all over and it’s like I’ve spritzed myself in my favourite perfume, except this actually lasts!
Hair masks are something that I’ve been becoming increasingly obsessed, as I dye my hair it can become dry and brittle, so using a treatment on it once or twice a week just gives it a lift and a shine. I decided to pick up this on by Garnier to try something new and because you get such a bit tub for just a few pounds. I found this very nourishing, but doesn’t leave the hair greasy, which I feel like some hair treatments can, even after washing them out.
Another Body Lotion … this one is the Midnight Fit + Pomegranate by Baylis and Harding which smells absolutely incredible. The consistency is so thin and not greasy which has made it perfect for putting on my elbows, knees and ankles before applying my tan.
My next favourite for this month is The Body Shop Matte Lip Liquid in the shade Windsor Rose 032. I’m sure you’ve seen me mention this liquid lipstick many times on my blog, but this is honestly one of my all time favourite lipsticks to wear as the colour is my perfect nude, it lasts all day, doesn’t dry out your lips and it’s super cheap … whats not to love eh?

My last favourite for this month is this Carvela, Kurt Geiger purse that my sister bought me for my birthday. I have been using this so much and I love that it goes with all of my bags, it has so many different pockets and although it looks small, so it doesn’t take up a lot of space in my bag, it’s actually a decent size inside.
And there we have my favourites for the month of August; I really hope you enjoyed reading all about them and I will see you soon with a new post!
That Body Shoo lipstick sounds amazing! I'll have to give that a go! XKate// itskaterose.com
