The other day when I went into London, I picked up a few new makeup bits to try out and I thought I would share them with you all. I will be doing a YouTube video using these products for a First Impressions makeup look.
NYX HD Finishing Powder – Banana:
The first item that I picked up was the NYX HD Banana Finishing Powder which I have heard really good things about. I’ve been wanting to try out a banana powder for soo long, since I used up all of the one in my Revolution Contour Palette, but I haven’t been able to find one thats not too dark or yellow for me and this one looks perfect for my skin tone.
NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipstick – Ruffle Trim:
I tried one of these liquid lipsticks out a couple of years ago, but I wasn’t too keen on the colour and after hearing so many good things about this colour, I was all over it. If you know me, you’ll know that I LOVE warm toned nudes and this one is perfect for me. I can’t wait to start using it and I already know that this will be my go-to, everyday nude this Spring/Summer.
Revolution Soph x Eye-shadow Palette:
This palette was another item on my wishlist that I picked up. I’m obsessed with Revolution products so I have high hopes for this. This palette also has a really nice shade range so it’ll give me the option to get out of my comfort zone. I’m really exited about this palette and if I love it (which I’m sure I will) you will be seeing a lot of it on my blog.
Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter – Peach Lights:
I then picked up the Revolution Vivid Highlighter which I have been wanting to try out for soo long. I have heard so many different things about these and as they had a 3 for 2 deal on I thought why not?! I have the Revolution Blush Palette which has a couple of highlighters in and they’re incredibly creamy and pigmented so I have high hopes for this one.
Revolution Fast Base Foundation Stick – F1:
I have heard so many good things about this foundation and it has been on my wishlist for so long so I thought I would try it out. I will be doing a first impressions/review on this foundation over on my YouTube Channel so if you would like to see that, don’t forget to subscribe!! I picked up the lightest shade (F1) so I’m hoping this doesn’t oxidize.
Primark PS Love Rose Perfume:
The last item I picked up was the Primark Love Rose Perfume which was only £3.50. I just decided to spray it as it was a tester and it smelt soo good that I thought I would just pick it up for a new everyday perfume. Perfumes are one of the things that I like to spend my money on, but using an expensive perfume everyday isn’t a very good idea, especially when I like to spray a lot many times a day. So the fact that I’ve found a really nice one for soo cheap is just perfect!! I don’t know what the wear is like with this but, considering the price, I wouldn’t mind topping it up throughout the day/night.
