For today’s post, I thought I would do something a little bit different and get a few other bloggers to join in, to share the songs that give us all the summer vibes.
Before I get onto sharing the girls favourite summer songs, I’ll start by sharing mine and why they give me them summer feels.
- Let’s start with one that’s probably quite obvious and that’s Summer by Calvin Harris. This one is so up beat and its such a vibe-y song to drive to when it’s really hot out.
- One Kiss by Dua Lipa has been on replay since it came out a few months ago and I know that it will continue to be throughout the Summer. Again it’s so up beat and it’s a song that just makes you want to get up and dance.
- Colours, Jason Derulo is my next favourite and I’ve had it blasting out for the past few weeks and I will do throughout the summer. It’s all about representing your Country and your Flag … and it’s the Coca-cola anthem for the World Cup, so it’s the perfect time to be playing it.
- Girls Like by Tinie Tempah, was one of my favourite songs a few summers ago and it just reminds me of hanging out with friends and pretending we could all wrap haha!
- Better Now by Post Malone. Post Malone has been one of my favourite artists for almost a year now and every single song he brings out is a bit of me and this is no exception. Again, it’s a fast and up beat song that just makes you want to get up and dance … it also would be the perfect song to be singing along to at a concert or festival.
- Nobody To Love by Sigma is an oldie but a goodie and is that type of song that takes me back being at school and hanging out with friends over the summer … this song would be on repeat and rightly so because I still jam this out now!!
- Last but not least is 2002 by Anne Marie from the Speak your Mind Album, which again is a fairly new song that has been on replay since I first heard it. With the line ‘Oops I got 99 problems singing bye, bye, bye, hold up if you wanna come and take a ride with me, better hit me baby one more time‘, she’s included parts of the lyrics from the likes of Nelly, Backstreet Boys, Jay Z and Brittney Spears. It’s just the perfect cheesy, old school, love song, and I am loving it.

Flower crowns and glitter at the ready, festival season is here and summer has finally arrived. Allow me to introduce myself, it’s your girl Ray from IndustryMe here to dazzle you all with my knowledge of the summer hits you have to include on your playlist.
- You’ll definitely need your sunscreen after the scorching heat delivered by the likes of One Acen who brings you hip hop vibes an urban edge and a dash of Caribbean flavour. The singer has teamed up with WSTRN to bring you the song ‘Vice Versa‘.
- In at #2 with awesome alt-rock inspired throwback vibes is OCNS with their new single ‘You’. This feel good number is bound to have you leaping off the walls with positive energy.

- Malibu – Miley Cryus
- Power – Little Mix
- Teenage Dirtbag – WheatUs
- Mr Brightside – The Killers
- Sorry Not Sorry – Demi Lovato
- Familiar – Liam Payne
- Rockstar – Post Malone & 21 Savage
- Crying In The Club – Camilla Cabello
- Where is the Love – Black Eyed Peas
I love all of these songs, because they have the upbeat music that makes everyone want to dance barefoot and drink cocktails all afternoon. Old songs are my favourite, but I defiantly need something with a beat.
