First of all, I hope you all had a good Halloween. I just cannot get over how fast this year has gone by because seriously how is it November already?! As we’ve come to the end of yet another month, let’s go through some of my favourite products of October.
Let’s just forget about saving the best till last because I’m way to excited not to blab about this first. A couple months back I spoke about the No.7 Youthful Facial Oil and it’s been a perfect addition to my skincare routine and makes my skin feel really hydrated and smooth all day. However, recently I started adding it to my everyday makeup routine and applying it between my moisturiser and my primer and it’s made my makeup application and the look of my makeup so much nicer and smoother. It gives such a natural glow to my skin rather than it being to powdery and matte and it even makes my makeup look better the longer I’m wearing it rather than the other way round. It just goes to show that you don’t need an expensive primer oil for it to do the job and I can not recommend you all to try it out enough.
Next up is the no.7 Bronzing Highlighter Stick. I have had this for quite a long time now but it always seemed a little too dark for my skin tone, however, as I go for of a bronze-y look and a gold highlight more often now, it seems to work really well now. This highlighting stick is really creamy and easy to blend … it also doesn’t take away any of the product underneath e.g. foundation and concealer, when you’re applying it.
My next favourite for October is the Ariana Grande Sweet Like Candy Perfume. This perfume is like the perfect scent for me as it’s a mixture of Vanilla and Marshmallow so it has a really sweet scent to it. I also think that the scent is perfect for this time of year as well. I notice that a lot of perfumes I have don’t seem to last that long and I have to keep spraying more but this one lasts all day and a little goes a long way too!!!
My last favourite for this month is the Sanctuary Spa White Lily and Damask Rose Body Lotion, which you’ve probably seen me mention this a while back on the blog, but I’ve recently started using it again. I love how hydrating this lotion is and the scent is incredible … and it also stays on the skin all day too.
And there we have it, my favourites for the month of October, I’m sorry it was short and sweet but I haven’t really been trying out new products for the majority of this month, however, I’m sure you’ll see lots of new favourites from me next month.
