Another month, another favourites post. I love both reading and writing these posts and my god am I excited that it’s not September. As much as I love summer, Autumn outfits, colours and scents make it another one of my favourite times of the year. But what bits and bobs have I been loving this month then?
Until I tried this one out, I’d never really been into lip plumpers and they weren’t a product I’d reach for or feel like I needed because they’ve never worked for me. However since using the Too Faced Extreme Lip Plumper, I have noticed a different and am loving that more glossy looks recently. I wouldn’t say it looks OTT or too much, but there’s deffo a bit of a difference and gives a more plump look to the lips … and trust me I need that haha!
The NYX Yellow Liquid Liner is one of those products that one minute I absolutely love and the next minute I’m put off again. If I’m able to do it right, meaning doing it perfectly in one swipe (which is a lot harder than it sounds) it won’t cake up and end up cracking. Here’s some looks I’ve done using it and look how FAB it can look!! If only NYX could work on the liner itself, it could be one of the best. If anyone knows of any good coloured liquid liners then please let me know in the comments below.
My last favourite for this month is the Missguided Babe Dreams Perfume / Body Spray. I used this over a year ago when I had a tester (I believe this was when they were first released but don’t quote me on that) and I almost forgot how much I loved the scent of this until I received it in a set for my birthday. We all know I’m awful at describing scents but on the Superdrug website it’s described as
‘sweet chypre scent is cushioned by a base of patchouli, rich amber and vanilla. The heart is an infusion of velvety rose with orris and violet whilst the top notes compliment with bergamot, pink pepper and red fruity accords.’
and if that isn’t a ME scent, then I don’t know what is. This one is a roll on perfume which makes it perfect for travel and carrying in my handbag. The packaging of the original one tho is super cute, it’s a baby pink colour and is designed to look a bit like an energy drink.
