September Favourites. || Blogtober

My first favourite for this month is the Netflix series call ‘The Mind, Explained’. I saw someone mention this on Twitter a few weeks ago, so I went over and read the summary and it sounded right up my street. It’s basically exactly what the title says, it talks about the mind and explains what actually happens to our brains during dreams, anxiety and more. There’s only 5 episodes of this talking all about memory, dreams, anxiety, mindfulness and psychedelics. It actually a really interesting series and I was hooked from the first episode.

Next up is the Revolution Peanut Butter Palette which I have spoken about previously on my blog. I’ve been using mainly the orange shades and then smoking it out with the darker shadows and it’s really giving me those autumn vibes. Revolution find a way of absolutely killing it with their palettes every single time and this one is no exception. The shadows are really smooth and blendable, they’re really pigmented and this was only £8.99. I deffo need to pick up some more soon.

CND have recently bought out new shades in their nail polishes and this khaki one called ‘Caps & Gown’ has been an instant fave. If you know me, you’ll know my fave colours are navy blue, khaki and grey (such exciting colours I know;)) so obviously this was going to be one I was going to like. There aren’t many Khaki nail polishes on the market that I can think of, if any at all and it’s like I’ve been waiting forever for one this colour.

As you can probably tell, this month has been a Podcast filled month and I’ve found a new love for them. The ones I have been listening to is the Garyvee Audio Experience and The Gemma Collins Podcast … both completely different but both so binge worthy. I’m sure you’ve all heard of Garyvee, if not then I urge you to check him out, especially if you’re in a bit of a rut with your career, or life in general. He’s really inspirational and whenever I’m feeling a bit down, or confused about what I’m actually doing with my life or just need a bit of guidance with a decision, his videos and quotes really help. Gemma’s podcast on the other hand is a bit of a guilty pleasure, almost like TOWIE used to be for me, I know I shouldn’t be listening to it because it’s not productive in the slightest, but I just find her hilarious.

Last but not least it’s the Morphe Flat top Kabuki Brush. As much as I love using a makeup sponge to apply my makeup, they’re not great for when you’re in a rush so I’ve started applying my foundation and concealer with this, blending it out slightly and then using a sponge to make sure there’s no streaks and that it’s all blended. Although I’m not usually a major brush fan for my base products because of the streaks that can show up, this one actually blends products really well and if I had enough time, I know it would completely blend the products out streak free.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read all about my September favourites, I hope you enjoyed it and here’s to October … I hope it’s a good one for us all.
