3 years later …. so today marks three years since I posted my very first blog post, how crazy is that? I feel like this is becoming a bit of a tradition to do this post every year, so let’s have a recap on my 3rd year of blogging.
This year I finally decided to take the plunge and migrate from Blogger to WordPress. To be honest I’m not crazy about using WordPress, it does make a few things a lot easier like, for example, placing photos easier by using a collage feature or adding plugins which make each aspect of your website work better. But to be honest, if you’re only doing this for a hobby, like I am, it wouldn’t be something I’d say you need to do, especially as the whole process is quite pricey. Some of my favourite posts from this year are my Holiday Pictures posts from when I went to Goa, India back in February. I love looking back at photos from where I’ve travelled and I cannot wait to go back and do the bits I didn’t get round to doing or travelling to a new part of India. I’ve really enjoyed doing more travel content this year including bucket lists etc. And I can see you’ve enjoyed them posts too!!! I’m so happy that I managed to finish both Blogtober and Blogcember, although it was tough to keep up, I’m glad I did it and I’m hoping I’m able to do it this year too.
My goals for the next year!
- Do more of a variety of content throughout each month including fashion, travel and lifestyle.
- Upload at least twice a week.
- Collab with other bloggers more often.
- Approach more brands with my ideas.
- Work on growing my Pinterest.
- Post more makeup looks on blog and Instagram.
- Start doing OOTD’s and Try on Hauls.
I also want to say a huge thank you for taking the time to read this post and for your support the past year. I still can’t believe just how much I’m still enjoying blogging and that people are still finding what I’m writing about interesting. I can’t wait to continue making content and see what happens next. Here’s to another year of blogging! 🥂
