Hey there and welcome to a new post on my blog. Today I’ll be sharing some of the eye shadow palettes that I have bought over the last couple of weeks. I’ve been really getting in to experimenting with makeup recently so I thought I would buy some new palettes to help me do so, even more. I have been sharing makeup looks everyday over on my Instagram @lookswithluce, so if you’d like to check them out that would be great! Anyway, let’s see what palettes I picked up in this haul.
W7 palettes, well the Delicious Palette in particularly, has been one of my all time favourite drugstore palettes for a few years now. Their palettes are such perfect dupes for the Anastasia Beverly Hills palettes and after having both the Soft Glam palette and the Norvina palette on my wish-list for a while, I thought I would try out the dupes for it before I get the ABH ones because they’re quite pricey. The Romance palette is the soft glam dupe and has very neutral, everyday shades in it. The Violet Lights palette, being the Norvina dupe, is more of a pink and purple palette, however it does have neutral shades in it too, which makes the palette a versatile one because you can create everyday looks or looks with a pop of colour.
If you’re a long term reader of my blog you’ll know that my collection is drowning in the Revolution brands products, particularly my palette collection, but quite clearly I needed 3 more … oops. The first one I decided to get is the Tasty Peach Palette which has a mixture of orange and pink shadows. I am always pleasantly surprised with the pigmentation and quality of these palettes because for just £10 they’re easily comparable to many high end brands, sometimes even better. Although the Tasty palettes are only £1 more than your regular iHeartRevolution chocolate bar palettes, I can tell a difference in the quality of both the packaging and the shadows. I also decided to pick up the Tasty Coffee palette as it’s a perfect neutral toned palette but it also has a few more pinky shades, a pastel lilac and a stunning khaki shade. The packaging is so stunning and it definitely played a part in making me want to buy it.
The last palette I picked up in this haul was the iHeartRevolution Macaroons palette which has beautiful pastel blue and cream packaging. I wouldn’t say there is a particular colour story in this palette because there’s quite a few browny shades, mattes and shimmers and then there’s a green and a few shimmery blues. One bonus is it does have whites, one matte white and one shimmer, I don’t know why but this is always something I’m happy to see in palettes, as well as blacks.
So these were the eye shadow palettes that I picked up, thank you so much for taking the time to read this post, I hope you enjoyed. Let me know if you have any of these or any palettes you think I should add to my collection in the comments below. You can check out my previous post here.
Thanks for sharing! Can you add pics of swatches so we can see what the shades look like?

Oo yes good idea, I’ll do that!! X
I’m a sucker for good packaging. I’ve heard a lot about these brands but I don’t think I’ve tried any of them!

Thanks for reading! I can not recommend both brand enough, particularly iHeartRevolution as it’s my fave. Such a good quality but cheap as well!! 🤍
I’ve seen the looks you’ve been creating on Instagram and they’re so good! I really want to try some of the iHeartRevolution palettes. Thanks for sharing! X

Thankyou so much!!! Couldn’t recommend them enough 🤍
I’m a huge fan of I Heart Revolution’s line – particularly their eyeshadow and their highlighters (those striped heart highlighters are addictive!!). I haven’t bought any makeup in a while but that coffee palette looks cute.
