For the past few years I have shared the ‘Summer Blogger Playlist’ and this year I wanted to make it bigger and better than before by getting more Bloggers involved. - Six Feet Apart – Luke Combs; This ones very apt for what’s going on in the world at the moment. Luke Combs wrote this song whilst in quarantine and is about the current situation. I’ve had this on repeat since I heard it and have been loving it. Deffo worth a listen!
- Play It Again – Luke Bryan; You can probably tell by now that I’m a country music lover and it’s host of some of my all time favourite songs. This one is very upbeat, lifts my mood almost instantly and it’s one of my faves to have on in the car, with the windows down and singing it at the top of my lungs.
- 1999 – Charliexcx, Troye Sivan; I’m sure you’ve all heard this one. It’s just one of those cheesy songs that every playlist just has to have!
- Post Malone – Sam Feldt, RANI
- Cool Anymore – Jordan Davis, Julia Michaels
- LOKO – YG, Tyga, Jon Z
- Together – Sia
- Man Down – Shakka, Aluma George

Like many people, summertime is my jam! I’m excited to share my favorite summer songs with you. It’s a varied collection, spanning the genre list, so there is something for everyone!
- 1. Summertime by The Fresh Prince (aka Will Smith). I was 15 when this song took summertime by storm. It has been my way of “opening the summer” every year since. This song keeps some very valuable memories alive!
- 2. Three Little Birds by Bob Marley. Not sure what part of this song doesn’t represent summer: Jamaica, vacation, relaxation and Bob Marley!! Feet up, drink in hand, the smell of suntan lotion and the heat from the sun beating down. Summer song all the way.
- 3. I’m Shipping Up To Boston by Dropkick Murphys. This pick may seem odd but it screams summertime to me. They play it at the Red Sox games at Fenway Park in Boston which is a summer destination for us. Not to mention this is one of the songs in my playlist when I compete in racing during the summer. It kicks things up a notch and fuels me across the finish line!
- 4. Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond. Any and every nightclub and ballpark in America can be heard playing this song throughout the summer. People of every age and background are arm in arm, swaying side to side, belting out this tune unapologetically. It is a feel good moment of every summer!
- 5. Don’t Stop Believin by Journey. I think of my teenagers in the backseat of the car on our way to the beach. Phones go down and the car concert begins. This is what summers are made of!!
