As I’ve already done my Autumn and Winter Travel Bucket Lists, I thought I would carry on this mini series and share my Spring travel Bucket List with you. It’s basically a list of the countries / places that I hope to travel to during the spring time because it seems like the best time to go to these places.

New Zealand.
The first destination on my list is Christchurch all the way in New Zealand. I’ve always wanted to travel to New Zealand as I’ve heard great things, it looks like such a beautiful country and has a lot of English heritage as well. Obviously, this is a Spring bucket list, but when it’s Spring in the UK it’ll be Autumn over in NZ, meaning it’ll be a lot cooler and it’s said to be a quieter time when it comes to tourists. Some of the things I’d love to do in New Zealand include climbing the Sky Tower in Auckland, Bungee Jump, Star Gaze at Lake Tekapo and Visit Mount Cook to name just a few.
Athens, Greece.
Having previously been to Greece, more specifically Kefalonia, and absolutely loved it, it very much makes me want to go back to this beautiful Country. I’m a sucker for a good ol’ city break and Athens is high up on my list for many reasons and the things I’d love to do there include having some lovely traditional Greek food, climb to the Acropolis and also visit the museum. May is also said to be a great time to go to the open-air Cinema. Doing all this in the Spring would be a great time of year to go because it’ll be sunny and warm enough but not too hot like it would be during the Summer.
Tokyo, Japan.
Next up on the list is Tokyo, Japan, which I’m sure is on basically everyone’s bucket list. I would love to visit Tokyo in the Spring particularly because it’s the perfect time to see the beautiful Cherry Blossoms. Apparently they host parties to see the flowers which are called Hanami parties. Some of the other things I’d love to do whilst I’m there include seeing Mount Fuiji and see a Geisha dance performance.
Cancun, Mexico.
I’m sure you could all predict that I was going to include this one because it’s the ultimate Spring Break location. During the spring months the temperature is high 20’s, early 30’s which is like my perfect temperature … I can imagine the summers are incredibly hot. Cancun seems like it would be the most amazing beach holiday and some of the more beachy activities I’d love to do are Snorkelling, Jet Skiing and Paddle boarding. Away from the beach and the more adventurous activities I’d love to do include seeing the Chichen Itza Maya Ruins (one of the seven wonders of the world), Zip Lining and obviously have some great Mexican food. I feel like going more into the less touristy areas and see authentic Mexico.
Dubai, UAE.
The last destination on my list is Dubai. It’s particularly recommended to go to Dubai either late winter, around November time through to early spring, around March time. Because it’s a much cooler time of year and the summers could be unbearable with highs of 55°C. I know Dubai is like that love it or hate it kind of destination, but it personally really sticks out to me as a place I want to go for many reasons, including the culture, the food and because it’s got the desert and the city. Some of the things I’d love to do whilst there would be see the Burj Khalifa, visit the Dubai Mall, see the palm, the Dubai Mall (particularly the Aquarium) and to go dune bashing / desert safari. Amongst many other things of course.
There we have my Spring travel Bucket List. Obviously NYC / New York could have easily been on this list, but it’s been on my last two post, so I thought I would leave it out this time. I really hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you soon with a new one. Until then, don’t forget to check out the Autumn and Winter posts of this series.
