Hi there and welcome to a new post on my Blog. For today’s post I will be unboxing the latest Glossybox for June 2020. I did take a short break from doing these posts, but I’ve missed getting my Glossybox in the post each month, so I decided to restart my subscription. This post is also a little later than expected because my box only arrived today but I thought I would still share this months goodies with you all anyway. So, let’s see what goodies came in this months box and why I would class it as the worst box I’ve eve had?
The first product I picked up out of the box was the Vitamasques Black Gold Dust Sheet Mask. I always love trying out new skincare products and sheet masks are the perfect kinda mask for me because there’s no faff, no mess … you can just chill whilst it does it’s job. I haven’t tried any Korean Beauty products yet, but they’ve been all the hype in the beauty world for a while now, so I’m happy to finally have my hands on one. It’s described as a Purifying mask that’s made with gold dust and bamboo charcoal powder. I’m very excited to give this a try.
Next up is the Delhicious Beau-Tea-Ful Black Tea Body Scrub. Body scrubs may be one of my favourite products to use and seeing as I’m trying out a new fake tan at the moment, this is such great timing for when I need to scrub it off. I’ve used coffee scrubs in the past and loved them, but never a tea scrub so it will be interesting to see if I like this one just as much, or even more.
I’m always down to try out a new fragrance and in this months box I got a Mitchell and Peach Floral Perfume. I’m not a huge lover of floral scents as I feel they can be more of an older lady smell and this one is quite a strong smell but at the same time doesn’t really smell of anything. I personally am not a fan of this one, but I’m sure I can find someone who will like it more than me.
One product that I was quite intrigued by was the Colour Club Dry Ice which is supposed to help to dry nail polish a lot quicker. This was one of the products that came very grubby, I don’t know if you can see in the photo but the lids particularly dirty. I would’ve loved to have tried this out but the fact it’s dirty and looks like a little bit has either been used or leaked, makes me not want to use it … which is a shame really.
Lastly I got a Nude Oryza Lipstick, which is actually such a me colour but on there website it shows that this was left over from their March 2018 box and the packaging is a little grubby. So, I don’t think I should actually use it but maybe I’ll try it out in the future and purchase a new one.
As much as I liked the products in this months box, I didn’t receive any of the items in the sneak peak, I think they must have been sold out. But to send me products that are over a year old, one even over 2 years old and some products that were quite grubby, isn’t great. I was a little disappointed in this post considering I was supposed to receive a HUDA Beauty Liner, some LASplash Makeup Brushes and some other bits too. I’ve seen that lots of people were very disappointed with this box too. Also, I just want to say, this is in no way trying to bash Glossybox, I just was all set to share this months box with you and I’m sure, as it didn’t include any of the products that you probably got, you may have been confused … just like I was when I first opened it !!
And there we have the products that made up June 2020’s Glossybox. I always find that in every box there’s at least one brand or product that I have never heard of and most that I’ve not tried but this month every single product is from a brand that I haven’t heard of before so I’m very excited to get using some of them. If I do love them you’ll be sure to see me mention them on the blog at some point.

Great post, thanks for sharing, I had fun reading it. Seeing all sorts of brands I never heard of. I just love make-up/beauty boxes unboxings. I do hope that next month will have the correct items, a shame they did it like they did in this one that is not nice or good in my eyes.

Thank you for sharing your honest opinion. I’ve been thinking about signing back up for a subscription box. I used to get Roccabox but I stopped my subscription after a while as I just had so many products to use. I’m ready to start trying new products again now though, so I think I’ll sign back up. 🙂

Thank you for sharing. I had Glossybox for a few months but wasn’t into the products so I canceled. Boxycharm was really good though. Right now, I’m subscribed to two green beauty boxes: Petit Vour and Kinder Beauty Boxes. Not sure if they ship in the UK though.

Great post! I’m sorry to hear that this box wasn’t as good as previous ones. That lipstick sounds horrible, as if it arrived grubby and not only that it could be two years old?! Ew xx

Usually I would recommend it, think one was just a bit of a let down😂 some lovely products tho💛
I received Glossybox, Look Fantastic and Birchbox for a while! They all have good months and bad months, but I found I just ended up with a million samples of things in my house I didn’t really want, so I unsubscribed! Good fun though!
