1. Halloween or Christmas?
As much as I love Autumn, Halloween isn’t my favourite festive season; it just has to be Christmas. Some years I don’t even celebrate Halloween at all but every year I get in the festive spirit for Christmas. The food, the parties, spend time with family, some time off work (even if it’s only a day or two) and I love buying and wrapping presents for people too!
2. What’s your favourite thing about October?
It has to be when the temperature drops and the leaves turn from green to gorgeous shades of red, yellow and orange. As well as this, I love when I can put my summer candles away and get out the spice and cozy scents.
3. Are you a big celebrator of Halloween?
Not really, as I said, most years I don’t celebrate Halloween and obviously I’m too old for Trick or Treating now, so I either go out with friends for a few drinks or take the opportunity to have a nice warm bath, get a takeaway and watch a horror film.
4. What’s your favourite horror movie?
I’m not a big horror film watcher, unless I’m with my friends then I watch them all but my favourite would have to be Truth or Dare; it’s not that scary but it’s more creepy and weird but it’s one I can watch over and over again.
5. Would you rather a cosy night in watching horrors or a big night out in a costume?
Probably a big night out in a costume. I do love getting dressed up and going to fancy dress parties but again I love a cosy night in so I wouldn’t be too fussed if I didn’t go out; or like this year when there’s not too much we can actually do.
6. Which has been your favourite costume to date?
I’ve not really been one to plan an outfit and make it the best, so I usually end up wearing my own clothes and adding some devil ears or using my old school uniform and adding some fake blood; there isn’t a costume that actually stands out to me from the past but maybe this year, or next year when *hopefully* all is well, I’ll make more of an effort.
7. Bobbing for apples or pin the hat on the witch?
I’ve never really done pin the hat on the witch, it’s always been about the apple bobbing or getting the sweets out of the flour with your mouth.
8. How do you celebrate Halloween?
Again, it depends. I either go out with friends, have a cosy night in watching films and wait for the trick of treaters and some years it just feels like any other normal night/ might even have been working.
9. What’s your least favourite horror?
Probably Jaws, it’s definitely over-hyped, looks really fake and is overall a bit crap thats all.
10. Do you have a favourite trick or treating memory?
The home I lived in when I was very young was a really good area to go trick or treating because it used to be so busy with lots of kids and we’d get as many trick of treaters as houses we’d go trick or treating at. There’s not a specific memory but it used to be really fun and I have good memories of it.
11. What’s your favourite thing about Halloween?
Seeing all the looks/ outfits people put together, going to parties or even just the excuse to each lots of sweets!
12. Scary costume or silly costume?
Probably more of a silly costume, something thats not necessarily scary but a random costume from the fancy dress shop. Or just going OTT with the makeup trying to make it look gory and scary but ends up looking like a hot mess!
13. What’s your favourite Halloween decoration?
I’ve recently found a new obsession for wreaths so probably an autumn or Halloween wreath; particularly a John Lewis one that I still have my eyes on.

You’re so welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed the post. I’m looking forward to seeing more posts from you💛
Ahaha, Jaws, it’s a bit shit, ahah I love it. That tickled me :’D . Oh I haven’t watched a scary film in so long! I used to be obsessed with horror films when I was a teenager. I remember watching The Poltergeist sneakily because I wanted to see what all the fuss was about but wasn’t allowed to watch it, haha :’D .
Ahhh geez I can’t wait to click through everyone’s links and see their blogs! So excited to do this tag! I love tags. <3

Aha isn’t it?😂 I haven’t seen the poltergeist either, I’m not too much of a fan of horrors nowadays though! And ahh it’s so nice to find other blogs! 💛💛
We should each watch at least one horror film before October is over! On Halloween or Halloween, Eve Exploring With Josh is doing a Halloween live special which I’m planning to watch. I love urbex exploring and abandoned videos. I definitely find these more interesting these days than horror films. xx
