Winter Try-On Clothing Haul – FemmeLuxe + H&M. | gifted

It’s a been a while. After finishing Blogmas and Blogtober a couple of months before, I thought I would take a little break and come back in early January. However, I ended up being ill for over 2 weeks. I’m now ready to get straight back into it and start smashing out the content for 2021.

Considering the time of year, I have been wanting to add some new knitwear to my collection so I decided to pick up the Stone Oversized Split Side Knitted Jumper. Honestly, I loved the way this looked on the model and the style of the jumper, but for me it’s not my best buy. I picked up a large which is a 10/12 and it’s actually just that little bit too big; not too much of a problem because I love oversized jumpers; especially when it’s cold out. This one does feel a little bit cheap as it’s a bit scratchy, it’s not that flattering as it looks a bit like a jumper dress, but because of the style it can’t really be worn as one; unless you want to rock that kinda look. I think I could style this and make it look more luxe or potentially sizing down could make it more flattering. For a chill outfit tho I think you can make it look good!!

I paired the jumper with these PU Faux Leather High Waisted Cuffed Joggers. I have wanted a pair of leather trousers for so long but any I’ve ordered, tried on or read reviews on have all said they’re either really thin, have that off putting fish smell or the fit just isn’t great. So when I was scrolling through the website and found these ones, that look great on the model and have the exact fit that I’m looking for, you can just imagine how gassed I was; I just had to pick them up. When they came I was actually delighted with how well they fit. I picked up a size 10 as I had a feeling they would come up small and they are the perfect fit for me. I like that they come up a bit cropped because they’re cuffed, they aren’t at all see through and you don’t get the visible panty line even without no VPL knickers on. I know you’re all waiting for this one girls … they don’t have that fishy smell either!! If you’re on the hunt for some PU Leather Trousers, I would highly recommend checking out these ones as I’m highly impressed and over the moon with these.

Lastly, from FemmeLuxe, are these Grey Fleece Oversized High Waisted Utility Pocket Cuffed Joggers which I got in a Small. What I’ve noticed with FemmeLuxe, from previous orders, is their joggers are sometimes huge, sometimes tiny for their size so I thought I would size down this time but they don’t actually fit me comfortably, you never know by summer I may be able to rock these!! Other than the sizing, they’re are also really good quality, they feel nice and thick and really soft inside. I’m loving the utility style clothes at the moment and the colour of these are stunning; we all know I love to be boring and wear grey 99% of the time. I may actually order the size up so that I can wear these as I think they’d look sick, especially as I’m living in joggers at the moment.

Next up we have the Green Cropped Polo Neck Jumper. I’m actually really feeling green at the moment and I can’t tell you how much I love this jumper, from the colour to the balloon style sleeves, the way it fits; everything. I decided to pick this up in a small as sometimes I like my knitwear to be fitted and with some high waisted jeans this looks really nice. I have also paired this jumper with the PU leather trousers which is a nice, more comfy look, than jeans.  It does look a little bit more of a bright green in person than it did on the website, or picture above, but I think it;s a sick colour and perfect for this time of year. Especially when I never wear this sort of colour, so it definitely gets me out of the cycle of just wearing black, grey and the occasional khaki. I personally don’t think a lot of H&Ms clothes are that good quality but they kill it with their knitwear and for £12.99 you can’t really go wrong.

The last item in this haul are these Khaki Pull-On Trousers which I’ve had on my wish list for quite a while now. Throughout spring and summer I live in trousers like this, they’re just so easy to style, comfortable to wear and really like weight so you don’t get too hot. I picked these up in a size 12 which fit me perfectly whilst also being a little more baggy than fitted. You can tighten the waist like I have as they have a bit of give in them. I got these with my £5 recycle voucher so these for just £8.07; bargain! (excuse the creasing I had literally just taken them out of the package!)
