Happy Black Friday Weekend everyone; long time no post. I’ve been missing writing and sharing on my blog, so I thought I would share a lil haul of some new pieces in my wardrobe for the winter season and some not so new things but staples I have been loving recently. Some of these items are in the BF sales, so be sure to check them out as you may grab yourself a bargain.
First up we have this PLT Gilet. I have seen a lot of these around recently and have been wanting to get my hands on one. I was just a lil put off because I thought I had probably missed the season for these as its continuing to get colder, but I thought would look really nice with a thick knit jumper underneath to keep warm. I am yet to wear this properly, but I know it’ll become a staple in my wardrobe over the coming months.
One site I have been loving ordering from recently is Cider. I have mentioned Cider a few times in posts recently so you may have heard me speak about them, but I decided to make a lil haul and stock up on some tops. One of my favourites I got is this long sleeve chocolate brown collared crop top. This is really comfortable, keeps you warm, super soft and just so easy to wear and pair with other clothes; a quick and easy option, especially when in a rush.
Next up is this basic ribbed midi dress from Shein. I haven’t ordered from Shein before, as far as I can remember, but I thought I would try them out as this was such a bargain; costing just £6.50. I wasn’t sure how good the quality of this would be, but its super soft, isn’t see through and fits really well. With this being strappy, I will have to layer up but I think this will be cute, not only during the coming months but into the Spring as well.
I love a little black dress. I think they are staple pieces that we should all have in our wardrobes when you just don’t know what to wear or have no time to plan an outfit, as you just cannot go wrong. For someone who says this, I literally only just added an LBD to my wardrobe, after recently having a clear out and I just knew I needed a couple more. These two stunning pieces are from FemmeLuxe.
The first of the FemmeLuxe dresses is this ruched midi bodycon strappy dress. If you remember a previous haul of mine, I got this in green. I found the green dress to be a little big for me, so I went for a size 10 in this one. It fits so much better and really accentuates the hips and makes you look a lil curvy. The fit is a little strange on the bad as the top half is a little big and doesn’t stay to the skin if that makes sense, it sticks out a little and would be better if, like other bodycon dresses, was figure hugging.
The second piece from FemmeLuxe is this mini black one shoulder mesh dress. I don’t have anything like this in my wardrobe at the moment, so wanted something a bit different. I sometimes find one shoulder pieces can fall down and not fit too well but, as this has like a double strap, it feels really secure and, even without a bra or nip covers, I would have no worry with this dress. Again, it fits really nicely, the material is really soft and, i didn’t find this to ride up too much, obviously this may be a different case when out and about, but so far I’m impressed!
The last item I wanted to share in this haul, is another dress! This time we have a jumper dress. I love jumper dresses. Even during the cold months, they keep you warm, look great, can be dressed up or down and, again, are a super simple autumn/winter staple. This one is from ASOS (by Brave Soul) and surprisingly, even being a dress, it keeps you really warm and, let’s be honest, who wants to wear tights if they don’t have too? Certainly not me! This one has a high slit, which really compliments and hugs the figure and, one thing that I love, is it’s not itchy or restrictive. Being such a basic to have in the wardrobe, I love that it has a high neck and a tie around the waste to add to it a little.
