Good evening all. This is the last post of Blogmas 2024 that I’m sitting down to write, everything else is scheduled and ready to go. I can’t believe how fast it has gone and I have loved every second of writing again and getting back into blogging.
For this post, I’m taking it back to my little series of ‘last to the party reviews’ and, this time, it’s on the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation. I bought this in my recent Black Friday Haul, which you can have a read of here to see what goodies I picked up if you’d like; so, what are my thoughts?
I would say the shade range is pretty good, they have 16 different shades and each one comes in Cool, Neutral and Warm, so I am more than sure that the majority will be able to find a shade for themselves; even if it meant mixing a couple together, but with the price you may not want to do that. I picked up shades 3 Neutral and 4 Neutral, only because it was on a 2 for 1 deal, but I thought it would be good to have for the days where I’ve got tan on or for the Summer but, to be fair they are both quite light and could probably get away with both all year round. *internal thought – that means I have an excuse to buy another shade actually*
I have been using shade 3 which seems to be a near on perfect match for me. It covers well, but still hasn’t a light to medium coverage, yet you can build still build it up without it looking cakey. It gives a really healthy glow, without making you very oily which a lot of foundations do on my skin. Whether it’s a skin like everyday look or an Uber glam, full coverage look, this is a great product to use; it’s a really good day to night foundation. One of those products that you can be applying in the morning and then, if you’re going out in the evening and need to make it a little more glam, you can go over it with another layer for a little top up. Although, I would say, it still looks good enough at then end of the day to not necessarily need to do this but, if you wanted, you could just add a little bit more powder or bronzer and blush and you’re ready to go again.
Overall, I am very pleased with this foundation, from the shade range to the coverage and the way it sits/ looks on the skin to how it lasts. I’d say, as a whole, it’s a very good foundation (which is what you expect when you’re spending near on £40 on it!) for those that like a glowy, medium yet buildable, well lasting foundation. It’s definitely just going to be a product in my collection that I use here and there and not every day, but I am so pleased with this purchase.
And there we have it, for me Blogmas is over and out for another year but you’ve all still got one more post to enjoy. Thank you for reading this post, I hope you enjoyed hearing all about this product and my thoughts on it. I will see you Christmas Eve with another one!!
