November Favourites! | Blogmas

Happy 1st of December all and welcome to my first post of Blogmas 2024. Can you believe it? Not only am I sitting down to write a blog post for the first time in however many months, but I’m committing to Blogmas. I have missed writing so much and, I now have the urge to write again which feels amazing. So, here goes nothing, here is my November Favourites for 2024.

Diablo Eyelash Serum:

First up, we have the Diablo Eyelash Serum. I have been looking for a new eyelash serum to try for the longest time; I know there are soo many trending right now, but with this whole prostaglandin thing, it scares the life out of me. If you don’t know, a lot of eyelash serums contain prostaglandins which are said to ‘increase hyperpigmentation, hollow or sunken skin, and increase appearance of dark circles’ and trust me, we don’t want that.

After having lash extensions for a few months and me pulling my last set off… oops. My lashes were short, stubby, broken and fighting for their life. I have been using this for maybe just over a month or so now and I am noticing the difference. Not massively, but I can see that my lashes are slightly longer, they are all the same length and back to how they used to be. Once curled, they even look so much longer and, for the first time in years, I actually love using just mascara; I’ve always been a lash girl and I think always will be, but for those times where you can’t be bothered with strip lashes or to potentially mess up a look when you have no time to put strip lashes on and don’t want to rush, it’s great to not feel the need to.

Skin & Me Daily Defence Oil-Free SPF 50 Sunscreen:

I had this as a sample when I did my last Skin & Me order and I’ve actually been really enjoying using it; I don’t know if I would necessarily repurchase as it’s not unlike others I’ve tried but it’s still better than most.  I find a lot of SPF moisturisers can crumble off the skin and make you look like you’ve got really dry, scaling skin. However, this one sunk into the skin and almost felt like I didn’t have anything on. I mixed this with the Skin & Me Light Moisturiser and the two together gave the hydration I need in this cold weather but, again, sunk into the skin and made for the perfect under makeup base.

No7 High Shine Lip Crayon:

Yes, I’m still talking about this Lip Crayon😂 I have had this for longer for a while, I believe it came in a Look Fantastic Advent Calendar a good few years ago but I still absolutely love it.  I have it in the shade Nearly Nude, I believe (the name has rubbed off), but I cannot find it anywhere online. I have found one in the shade Delicate Pink, which is similar and have linked it at the end of this post. It’s such a ‘natural’ lip colour, but has a hint of pink and is so creamy and glossy that it hydrates the lips; so perfect for the Winter. It finishes off any makeup look perfectly and is the only lip product I keep in my clutch bag at the moment to top up on nights out.

I go through stages where I completely forget I have this and others, I reach for it every time I wear makeup for months on end; it’s deffo a must have in my makeup collection and I will continue to buy them. *internal thought, I should actually buy more*.

Collection Colour Finish Liquid Blush Wand in 2 Peach Pleasure:

I have been eyeing up the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wands for the longest time, but never really knew if they would be worth the price; I have heard amazing things but, unless I’m sure, I try not to invest in things like this. I came across the Collection Blush Wands when doing a Boots shop and thought I would give one a try. I’ve been loving a cream blush over the last 6 months or so and absolutely rinsing my Made by Mitchell ones, so thought it was a good time to try some others. I love Peachy Blush, I love a glowy highlight and this is a two in one. A little goes a long way but it is buildable, so I would do it in stages rather than making my mistake of putting way to much on and doing a full arm workout to get it blended. It blends seamlessly into the rest of my base products but also, for the times you forget and go straight into setting the face, it does blend well over powder. For £5.99 you just can’t go wrong and, although I can’t comment on it being as good as the CT one but it’s definitely a good dupe.

Sol de Janeiro Rio Radiance Perfume Mist:

Onto my last favourite for this month. Despite Sol De Janeiro being so popular, I had only tried the Bum Bum Cream until I received this in a beauty bundle for my birthday this year from one of my close friends. I had heard so many things about the body mists that I was stoked to be able to try one.

Notes: A solar scent that combines clean white florals, creamy coconut milk and a warmth of sun on the sand.

It’s a very strong Coconut and almost like Vanilla scent. When it first goes on, it can be a bit a little too sweet and overpowering , but this one smells better the longer you wear it. I like to spray it on my clothes as I find this makes the smell last longer and can be smelt throughout the whole day; I highly recommend and will definitely be trying some of the other scents soon!

And that is all. Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this post, I really hope you enjoyed. I have linked every item below if you wish to have a deeper look at them and I will see you all tomorrow!! Byeeeeee ♡
